Traveling with a king is not what I expected... Though Albert is more down to earth then most people I know. He is a bit of - how should I put this? - a 'nerd'. If allowed he can ramble on and on on trivial things.

Or mood has lighten up some what. Right now we are heading towards Kazas, to deal with Emperor Doel and to retrieve the Moon Gem.

I sometimes wonder why I'm still traveling this group, other then the Dragoon Spirits. I guess I just want a break from what is normal for myself.

Lavitz is gone... Died trying to save his king... Ironic that the man who won the 'Heroes Competition' was the one to slay him.

And that sword... I should have realized that that man had the Dragon Buster. It's been so long since I've seen it that I thought it was lost to time. Had I realized it sooner, I could have Lavitz. Perhaps I'm just feeling guilty, but Shana and Dart are taking this hard. But then again, they knew Lavitz only a little longer then I have.

King Albert is safe, even though the Moon Gem was taken out of him. Once Lavitz died his Dragoon Spirit chose Albert to be the next Dragoon of the Jade Dragon, and so his majesty has decided to join us. It's probably because he wants to avenge his friend and get the Moon Gem back, but it's going to be odd traveling with a king.

King Albert of Basil has been captured by Sandora... We were just leaving town when a badly wounded Knight of Basil came looking for Lavitz. Haschel had to knock him out.

I don't blame Lavitz getting so excited. As captain of the First Knighthood of Basil, it is his duty to protect his king, but losing control can get one killed.

We're trying to get a better feel of the situation at the moment while Lavitz is still unconscious. Right now, we know that Bale is under occupation, and King Albert gave himself over willingly. It looks I'll be joining in on a rescue mission to save a king. That is, if we can keep Lavitz calm when he finally wakes up.

Finally we can get around to leaving this town. Dart did not win the Heroes Competition, but he did place second. There is something about the winner that is nagging me though...

The one who placed third is apparently a friend of Darts. I admit he is quite strong for an older man, but very annoying as far as his personality goes.

The Black Monster... Dart was.. is searching for the Black Monster in order to gain revenge. I wonder what he would think if he found out that the Monster is closer then he thinks?

Shana has recovered from the dragon's poison. We were unable to find the Dragoni Plant, but found something that worked just as well if not better. The Dragoon Spirit of the White-Silver Dragon. Unexpectedly it chose her to be a Dragoon. Strange how my new companions turn out to be a new generation of Dragoons...

We will be staying in Lohan for a few days. Dart wishes to compete in this "Hero Competition" in town.

I was right again. Sandora had a Dragoon of their own in order to control the dragon. Lavitz knew him too. Apparently this Dragoon was a traitor to Basil. Never the less we defeated him and the dragon. But what was odd though, the Dragoon Spirit chose Lavitz to be it's next master. He is now the Dragoon of the Jade Dragon A coincidence or fate?

Right now we have little time though. Shana took in too much of the dragon's poison. We are currently in Lohan gathering information on the Dragoni Plant. The doctor, Sanator, said that might be the only thing to save her. He can treat her and slow down the poison, but since the poison attacks the mind and not the body, there is very little he can do. She may only have a week to live.

We have reached the Basil fort in the marshland at the base of Volcano Villude. All of Basil's Tenth Knighthood has been wiped out... All killed by the poison the Green Tusked Dragon gives off.

Something has been bothering me as head closer to the Dragon's Nest. How can Imperial Sandora be controlling this dragon? There is only one way I can think of and that is there is a dragoon like Dart and myself controlling it for Sandora... But how? Could there be another way that I don't know of? But the again, if Dart's family found a Dragoon Spirit, there is a good chance the other five Dragoon Spirits have been found as well. But it sickens me that someone would use a dragon like for such purposes.

I have found that boy, Dart. I was right, he is a dragoon like myself. Dragoon of the Red-eye Dragon to be exact. How his family came into possession of a Dragoon Spirit, especially that one, is beyond me. He said it belonged to his father, but who had it before his father is unknown.

I had to save him a second time. This time from a Giganto, and luckily his Dragoon Spirit activated. Though he did faint after the battle... I have to teach how to control his power.

His companions, Shana and Lavitz, remind me of my dear comrades from long ago. Shana didn't trust me until Dart finally came to and explained that I saved him once before. The girl must have a thing for the boy. Why else would she yell at me for saving him? It doesn't matter, I'm used to being hated. Lavitz seems like an okay fellow. He is captain of the First Knighthood of Basil, and thus a strong ally to have.

We are leaving today to go to Volcano Villude where the Green Tusked Dragon's nest is. Sandora has been using the Dragon for more attacks on Basil, and successfully weakening Basil's Knighthoods. A Dragon can not be defeated by humans, but with two dragoons, there is a chance.

I have lost track of that boy for now. Of all the places for him to sneak into, he had to go into the Hellena Prison. He must have some kind of a death wish.

From the information that I have gathered, Imperial Sandora's attack on that one village was all in just to get one girl. Why would they go through all that trouble to capture one village girl?

That girl is probably the reason why he went into that hell hole of a prison. Is the life of one person really worth so much trouble?

It appears the dragon that has been roaming about is the Green Tusked Dragon, Feyrbrand. I had to save a young man from being eaten by the beast.

It appears that Imperial Sandora used the dragon to destroy a village. It's odd though. A village of that size could have been easily been destroyed with just the use of soldiers. You can say the dragon was over kill. Why would Imperial Sandora be interested in that village in the first place?

It can't be. That young man... My Dragoon Spirit reacted to him. That means he could be... And he looks so much like Zeig... I'll keep a close eye on him to see if my suspicions are correct.

I have arrived in Serdio today. It does indeed seem that the civil war between the Duchy of Basil and Imperial Sandora has gotten very bloody. The soldiers of Sandora seem to take delight in attacking small villages. Disgusting really.

In one village I was passing through, I heard someone say they have seen a dragon. I will investigate further and head towards the area where the creature was last seen.

It's been eighteen years so far. That means ninety years left until I must do my bitter duty again. I do not enjoy it but it has to be done.

I think I will be leaving Ulara soon. I'll probably head up to Serdio... A civil war is brewing there, and there are rumors of large monsters running loose in the area. Charle suggested that it should be investigated...
